About This Platform

This Learning Platform is an integrated set of interactive online courses that provides nurses with different backgrounds with information, tools and resources to support and enhance their educational needs.

It is a comprehensive system enabling secure, web-based training and e-learning solution that employs a simple and intuitive user interface.

It contains structured education aimed at updating and standardizing quality standards and developing the capabilities and competencies of nurses in order to maintain an advanced level of nursing care in the Lebanese health system, given their role in care, education, research, and community health.

It involves continuous development of knowledge and the acquisition of new skills that lead to the enhancement of intellectual capabilities and practical competencies in a manner compatible with the work and tasks carried out by nurses within a continuously evolving and challenging environment.

Objectives
1-Helping nurses to enhance their knowledge and gain new skills
2-Keeping nurses up-to-date to current evidence based practices in order to provide safe and quality patient care
3-Enabling nurses to acquire personal and professional abilities that maximizes the possibility of career advancement

The Order of Nurses created this platform based on the Continuing Education Law No. 136 published in the Official Gazette No. 34- on 11/07/2019, which requires from every registered nurse practicing on the Lebanese territories and member at the Order of Nurses to obtain a total number of thirty (30 credits) Continuing education units during three years, an average of ten units annually.

By creating this platform the Order fulfilled its responsibility by insuring access to Nursing Education Units for all nurses around the Lebanese territories.
